<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide metal nanoparticle paste which has an excellent balance in fluidity and viscosity or spinnability even without using a binder resin and can clearly form a fine pattern even by intaglio offset printing. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the metal nanoparticle paste comprising: metal colloidal particles (A) formed from metal nanoparticles (A1) and protective colloid (A2) covering the metal nanoparticles (A1); and a dispersion medium (B) for the metal colloidal particles, the protective colloid (A2) is composed of 1-10C amines (A2-1) which do not have a hydroxy group, 1-3C carboxylic acids (A2-2) and amines (A2-3) which have a hydroxy group, and also, in the protective colloid composing all the metal colloidal particles contained in the paste, the ratio of the amines which have a hydroxy group is regulated to 1 to 35 pts.mass based on the total 100 pts.mass of the 1-10C amines which do not have a hydroxy group and the 1-3C carboxylic acids.
