<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DC switch for securely preventing generation of arc. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The DC switch includes a contact part SW consisting of a series circuit of a mechanical contact MSW1 and a semiconductor switch SSW, a case 1 housing the contact part SW in a way inserting it between a power source terminal 10 and a load terminal 11, a manual switch part 2 equipped with a manual-operated operating part 20 set exposed on an outer face of the case 1 and switching the mechanical contact MSW1 in response to operation of the operating part 20, an operation regulating cover 3 covering the operating part 20 in a closed state to regulate manual operation of the operating part 20, a regulation state detection part 4 for detecting whether the manual operation of the operating part 20 is regulated or not, and a control part 5 controlling the semiconductor switch SSW based on detection results of the regulation state detection part 4. The control part 5 puts on the semiconductor switch SSW while operation of the operating part 20 is regulated, and puts off the same SSW while it is not regulated. Ž<P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT Ž
