The power connection system for a power tool (14) includes a housing defining a recess(15b), a plurality of electrical connector guide grooves (40a), an electric motor connected to a tool member, an electric circuit connected to the motor, and arcuate electrical contact prongs (30) disposed in the recess (15b). The power cord (10) has complementary arcuate receptacles removably engageable with the prongs (30), the cord (10) being connectable to a power source to connect the power tool (14) to the power source, and a lock pin (551) that locks the power cord (10) to the housing. The power cord (10) may be universally connected to any power tool (14) having a similar recess with arcuate prongs (30). |
