PURPOSE: A construction method of vertically separable blocks for a quay wall is provided to reduce the required amount of reinforcing steels and to absorb an external impact through the intermediate buffer part. CONSTITUTION: According to a construction method of vertically separable blocks for a quay wall, blocks are piled up in multiple stages to form the quay wall. The bottom block(100) is larger than the other blocks. A buffer groove(110) in which rubbles are filled is formed on the top of the bottom block. Projections(120) are formed on the front and rear sides of the buffer groove in order to prevent outflow of the rubbles. The upper blocks are piled up on the rubbles. |
