ORGANIC PHOTOSENSITIVE MATERIAL, IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, AND PROCESS CARTRIDGE

An organic photosensitive material has a photosensitive layer on a conductive support body, and the photosensitive layer has a protective layer.  The protective layer is formed of alumina particles having a reactive organic group.  It is thereby possible to increase the abrasion resistance of the organic photosensitive material to the level of that of an amorphous silicon photosensitive material and solve the problem of image deletion and/or image blurring which tends to be caused under hot and humid conditions or the like.  In the organic photosensitive material, an electronic photography image with high durability and high quality can be thus achieved.
