PURPOSE: A vacuum cleaner is provided to prevent a power code from being separated from a reel by applying external force to a press button. CONSTITUTION: A vacuum cleaner comprises a main body, a reel(70), a press button(62), and a reel shield(64). The reel is installed inside of the main body, and has a reel member(72) for winding a power code. The press button is installed in the main body, and operates the reel member to be rotated in one direction. When the press button is operated, the reel shield covers the reel member.
