<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a predetermined sealing function by a back-up ring hardly separated from a notch part formed on a body part in a seal member, even when it repeatedly receives increased/decreased hydraulic pressure actions. <P>SOLUTION: In the sealing structure, the seal member 1 is arranged between a bearing member C and a shaft member R penetrating the bearing member C and is stored in a circular concave groove formed at an inner peripheral side part of the bearing member with its opening opened toward the shaft member. The seal member 1 has the back-up ring 10 harder than the seal member 1 and formed in a circular shape. The seal member 1 also has the body part 2 having a nearly rectangular cross section, formed in the radial direction of the shaft member R, and integrally having an inside lip part 3 and an outside lip part 4 on one end part. The back-up ring 10 is closely held by a circular notch part 5 formed on an inner peripheral side part of the other end part of the body part 2 in the seal member 1. The notch part 5 comprises an axial-direction locking part 5a for maintaining a closely-holding state of the back-up ring 10 to the notch part 5 in the axial direction coaxial with the shaft member R. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
