<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article control system capable of detecting a chipped part of an article even in a case where only the article is chipped, the article control electronic tag attached to the article is torn off from the article, but communication with an article control electronic tag can be performed. <P>SOLUTION: A communication result with the article control electronic tag in an flaw-free state of the article is acquired in advance under the same radiocommunication condition. In an incomming and outgoing cargo quality inspection and stocktaking, radiocommunication is made again with the article control electronic tag under the same radiocommunication condition, to be compared with the communication result with the electronic tag acquired in advance.
