<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display panel module whose uniformity is not deteriorated even if higher luminance is achieved. <P>SOLUTION: A self-light-emission-type display panel module includes: (1) a pixel array section where pixel areas having at least a hold capacitor, a drive transistor having a control electrode and one main electrode connected to two electrodes of the hold capacitor and supplying a drive current having a value in accordance with voltage accumulated in the hold capacitor to a luminous element, and a sampling transistor controlling write-in of potential to the control electrode of the drive transistor are arranged in a matrix state in a display area; (2) a first driving section which applies corresponding potential to a signal line; (3) a second driving section which gives write-in timing of the potential to a first control line connected to the control electrode of the sampling transistor; (4) and a third driving section which increases the potential of the control electrode of the drive transistor through coupling operation after the finish of an initial period of a light emitting period. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
