<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic ticket gate device, an automatic ticket gate method and an automatic ticket gate system, whereby a weak user such as a physically handicapped person is easy to use without needing a special registration procedure. <P>SOLUTION: This automatic ticket gate device is equipped with entrance sensors 11a, 11b and cameras 12a, 12b for detecting passage of a user in an entrance part. When a wheelchair user blocks light between the entrance sensors 11a, 11b, for example, the wheelchair user is imaged by the cameras in that timing. Imaged images are respectively transmitted to image processing parts 13a, 13b, and a face image is extracted. Normalization is performed based on the extracted face image, and thereafter a lower part image of the face image is cut out (cutout processing). The cut-out image is binarized (binarization processing), and an outline is extracted to form a detected image. The detected image is compared with a template image based on matching technique and is distinguished (recognition processing). As the result of the recognition, in the case of the wheelchair user, control of a door of the automatic ticket examination device is changed into door control for the weak user and is operated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
