摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an improvement in agitation performance and the adjustment of a transfer performance; and to suppress the occurrence of ground surface settlement by changing the transfer capacity of cut sediment in the direction of a rotating shaft so as to maintain constant pressure corresponding to the earth pressure of the ground. SOLUTION: In a screw cutter 20, a set of spiral blade 22 is provided around the shaft portion 21, and a cutting bit 23 is attached to an outer peripheral portion of the spiral blade 22. The ground is cut with the cutting bit 23 by the axial rotation of a spiral blade 22, and the cut sediment is transferred to the side of earth removal. A plurality of openings 24, 24, etc. are formed along a spiral winding direction on the shaft portion 21 side of the spiral blade 22; an opening ratio of the openings 24 becomes smaller toward the side of the earth removal; and the spacing between the arranged openings becomes wider toward the side of the earth removal.
