PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine tool capable of enhancing rigidity of a revolving spindle which can revolve and index a main spindle in such a state that the main spindle fitted with a tool is positioned at an arbitrary angle. SOLUTION: The machine tool has the main spindle 42 that is rotatable and fitted with the tool 43 for machining a workpiece, and the revolving spindle 61 fixed to the main spindle 42 in the direction orthogonal to the main spindle 42 and capable of revolving and indexing the main spindle 42 around a revolving axis center. A pressurized fluid inflow chamber 65 is disposed between the revolving spindle 61 and a fixed member 62 which is fixed to a spindle head 66 supporting the revolving spindle 61. An elastic member 63 is held by the fixed member 62 and presses the revolving spindle 61 from the pressurized fluid inflow chamber 65 toward the radial direction of the revolving spindle 61 by applying pressurized fluid.
