<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment method of industrial waste water and a treatment device of industrial waste water by which cleaner treated water can always stably be obtained than heretofore, and the water quality of waste water equal to that in the case of using an expensive sand filter can be secured. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The industrial waste water treatment method comprises: a stage where alkali agent is added to waste water comprising heave metals, and a neutralized precipitate is produced, so as to form a precipitate layer 4 in a storage tank 3; and a stage where insoluble substance in the waste water is passed through the inside of the precipitate layer 4 from a feed port 2a provided so as to be located in the vicinity of the bottom part of the storage tank, and is filtered away by the precipitate layer 4, so as to reduce the concentration of the heavy metals comprised in the waste water. The industrial waste water treatment device comprises: the storage tank 3 storing waste water; and a water introduction pipe 2 provided in such a manner that the feed port 2a for feeding waste water is located in the vicinity of the bottom part of the storage tank 3.
