摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain a high quality image display by reducing electro-magnetic noise on an image signal in an electro-optical device, such as, a liquid crystal device. SOLUTION: The electro-optical device includes on a substrate: a scan line; a data line crossing the scan line; a pixel electrode provided for each pixel; a thin-film transistor including a semiconductor layer, which has (i) a gate electrode connected to the scan line, (ii) a source region connected to the data line, a drain region connected to the pixel electrode, and a channel region; a relay line which is stacked between the semiconductor layer and the pixel electrode, and which relays and connects the drain region to the pixel electrode; a first shielding layer which is stacked between the data line and the relay line, and which is held at predetermined potential; and a second shielding layer which is stacked between the pixel electrode and the relay line, and which is held at predetermined potential.
