<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure where the relief of redundancy is carried out in a logic region of a semiconductor device. Ž<P>SOLUTION: There is provided a semiconductor device 1 with a logic region 2. The semiconductor device 1 is equipped with a plurality of basic cells 21 which have the same structures and are provided in the logic region 2, redundant cells 22 with the same structures as those of the plurality of basic cells 21, an input selector 23 for switching a signal input to each of a plurality of basic cells 21 and the redundant cells 22, and an output selector 24 for switching a signal output from each of a plurality of basic cells 21 and the redundant cells 22. Furthermore, the semiconductor device 1 switches at least one of the input and output selectors 23, 24 to cause the redundant cells 22 to function to relieve a faulty cell among the plurality of basic cells 21.
