<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve efficient resource allocation even when the number of computers is increased. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A resource allocation program is executed on a computer in a parallel processing system in which each of a plurality of applications is executed by one or more computers, and configured to make a computer execute the steps of: acquiring a request quality value requested by each of the applications on the computer; acquiring the measurement quality value of task quantity to be processed by all the computers on which the applications are operated about each of the applications on the computer; calculating the allocation of resources to each of the applications on the computer from a relation between each request quality value and measurement quality value; and allocating the resources to each of the applications on the computer according to the calculated resource allocation.
