<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigeration/air conditioning compressor prevented in problems on an increase in input (=decrease in efficiency) and durability caused by frictional wear because it becomes difficult to form an oil film due to the fact that thermal strain is generated by welding and fixing a bearing provided at a compression mechanism to a storage vessel and a bearing surface is deformed inwardly to form a nonuniform clearance between the bearing surface and a crankshaft. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A cavity formed in consideration of a deformation volume caused by welding is previously formed at the bearing surface of the bearing provided at the compression mechanism, thereby forming the uniform clearance between the bearing surface and the crankshaft after welding and fixation.
