<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound adjustment device capable of improving the tone of an engine by increasing and decreasing arbitrary high-order components of frequency of intake sound and improving linear feeling of intake sound for the change of engine speed. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This sound adjustment device 1 which is provided in an air intake duct 3 of an air intake device and adjust tone of generated intake sound, includes a vacuum pump 4 sucking air though a negative pressure duct 5 branching off of the air intake duct 3 and generating negative pressure, a negative pressure frequency control plate 6 provided at a connection port 10 connecting the air intake duct 3 and a negative pressure duct 5 and opening and closing the connection port 10, a negative pressure level control plate 7 adjusting opening area of the connection port 10, a motor 8 opening and closing the negative pressure frequency control plate 6, and a motor 9 driving the negative pressure level control plate 7.
