<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage water heater capable of successfully performing hot water supply with large flow rate and mist-jetting. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The storage water heater is provided with a hot water supply mixing valve 15, to which a water supply bypass pipe 14 branched from a water feed pipe 12 and a hot water delivery pipe 13 are connected and which adjusts a mixing ratio of supplied water and hot water and supplies hot water at set temperature from a hot water supply pipe 16; and with a control means 25 for controlling the drive of the hot water supply mixing valve 15. A flow rate sensor 17 is provided in the hot water supply pipe 16, and a hot water faucet 19 and a mist nozzle 20 are provided downstream of the flow rate sensor 17. In the hot water supply mixing valve 15, at the start of hot water supplying, FF control for mixing hot water at a preset valve opening is performed by the control means 25. With regard to the FF control by the control means 25, a control part 26 for normal hot water supply and a mist control part 27 dedicated to mist are provided, and switching to the FF control by the mist control part 27 from the control part 26 for hot water supply is performed by the detection of mist usage so as to enable successful hot water supply and mist sauna.
