<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of filling an underground space part by which the filling work can be performed easily at a low cost. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The method of filling the underground space part includes a process for compressing a ground material 2 of hard urethane foam through a plastic bag 3 and sealing the plastic bag 3 under the compressed state to form blocks 1, a process for arranging a plurality of the blocks 1 in horizontal and vertical directions of the underground space part 4, and a process for boring holes in the plastic bags 3, respectively, to allow the cubic volume of the blocks 1 to increase by the restoring force of the hard urethane foam so that an inner wall of the underground space part 4 can be supported. The filling method is executed costlessly since waste materials or crushed waste materials can be used for the ground material 2 of the hard urethane foam. The filling work is easy since the cubic volume of the blocks 1 is increased by the restoring force of the hard urethane foam only by boring the holes in the plastic bags 3 of the arranged blocks 1, so that the underground space part 4 can be filled.
