<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of preventing damaging of a temperature sensor during maintenance of a heat exchange element. <P>SOLUTION: The air conditioner 1 is equipped with the heat exchange element 3, an air passage forming member 8, and a temperature sensor 9. The air passage forming member 8 forms an air passage for air flowing through the heat exchange element 3. The temperature sensor 9 measures a temperature of the air. The air passage forming member 8 has a sensor cover portion 16 housing at least a temperature sensing portion 9a of the temperature sensor 9.
