<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic clutch providing relatively large transmission torque while responding to a request for power saving. <P>SOLUTION: The clutch comprises a torque transmission mechanism 35 as an armature attraction assisting means for converting torque of a rotor part 7 to pressurizing force which pushes an armature 6 to a hub 3 side along the radial direction of a driving shaft 10. When driving of a driven equipment is in an OFF state during non-suction time of the armature 6 and the hub 3, the torque transmission mechanism 35 is at a position where a virtual line along the longitudinal direction is inclined along the circumferential direction of an outer member 4 and the armature 6 rather than along the radial direction of the driving shaft 10. When the driving of the driven equipment is turned ON and the hub 3 starts the rotation, the torque transmission mechanism 35 rises by receiving rotation force of the rotor part 7 and pressurizes the armature 6 on the armature 6 side of the torque transmission mechanism 35. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
