<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming system for forming an image efficiently at a high speed while avoiding cost increase owing to inclusion of a sheet inversion mechanism for a long sheet, in the image forming system for printing on both surfaces. <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming system, a first image forming device 1a and a second image forming device 1b are aligned in a conveyance direction of a sheet in series. The sheet on which an image is formed in the first image forming device 1a at an upstream side is inverted and an inversion device 94 for conveying the sheet to the second image forming device 1b at a downstream side after the inversion is arranged between the first image forming device 1a and the second image forming device 1b. The inversion device 94 includes a receiving part 95 for receiving the sheet after forming an image on a surface and a storing part 95 equipped with a discharge part, continuing from the receiving part 95, for rolling and storing the sheet being passed through the receiving part and discharging the sheet after inverting a sheet image surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
