<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet feeder and an image forming device for preventing deformation of a cassette body. <P>SOLUTION: A first rear end regulation means for regulating a rear end of a sheet which is movably provided for a cassette case 3 and a second rear end regulation means 5 for regulating the rear end of the sheet which is movably provided for the first rear end regulation means are connected by a third lock member 54. When regulating a rear end of a sheet smaller than a predetermined size, the third lock member 54 is moved in a direction for canceling connection while resisting an energizing force by a third lock spring 55 following movement of the first rear end regulation means and the second rear end regulation means 5 by a third lock canceling rib 38 so that only the second rear end regulating member 5 moves. Deformation of the cassette case 3 owing to a load of the third lock member 54 moved in a connection canceling direction while resisting the energizing force by the third lock spring 55 is prevented by a rib 3b for reinforcement as a deformation prevention part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
