PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for supporting planning of a production plan which considers a loss of a business chance which may occur caused by a law or the other restriction to be implemented.

SOLUTION: A production plan supporting apparatus 100 specifies a product which is exerted of influence of the restriction based on restriction information and a product specification, and calculates expected sales amount within a predetermined period after restriction as expected loss amount based on sales planning of the product which is influenced by the restriction. An outline of a plan for changing the product specification is calculated so as to endure the restriction.
