<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital-to-analog converter for reducing area and power consumption without increasing a capacity value of a capacitor for obtaining an analog voltage and without increasing the maximum charge and discharge current value of a charging and discharging part for assuring the linearity of input/output characteristics. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Correction of a charging and discharging current value of a charging and discharging circuit 3 is carried out in the order of correction of a charging current value I<SB>3</SB>of a charging and discharging circuit 11-3 corresponding to bit 3, correction of a discharging current value -I<SB>3</SB>of the charging and discharging circuit 11-3 corresponding to bit 3, correction of a charging current value I<SB>2</SB>of a charging and discharging circuit 11-2 corresponding to bit 2, correction of a discharging current value -I<SB>2</SB>of the charging and discharging circuit 11-2 corresponding to bit 2, correction of a charging current value I<SB>1</SB>of a charging and discharging circuit 11-1 corresponding to bit 1, correction of a discharging current value -I<SB>1</SB>of the charging and discharging circuit 11-1 corresponding to bit 1, correction of a charging current value I<SB>0</SB>of a charging and discharging circuit 11-0 corresponding to bit 0, and correction of a discharging current value -I<SB>0</SB>of the charging and discharging circuit 11-0 corresponding to bit 0.
