<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vane compressor preventing a reduction in the amount of lubricating oil to be supplied to a sliding part that slides while reducing discharge pulsation by preventing the residence of the lubricating oil in a discharge space and preventing a reduction in the volume of the discharge space. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A pair of compression chambers 21 are formed in a housing H of the vane compressor 10, and a discharge port 13a is formed in a cylinder block 13 so as to be communicated with each compression chamber 21. The discharge space Da is defined in the housing H, and the discharge space Da includes a pair of discharge chambers 13d. A discharge passage 15e has one end communicated with one discharge chamber 13d of the pair of discharge chambers 13d and the other end communicated with a discharge area, and the discharge space Da and the discharge area are linked with each other only by the discharge passage 15e.
