PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a method for purifying a protein for easily purifying a large amount of a protein that has high purity and maintains its activity. SOLUTION: The method of purifying the protein comprising a process of causing a fused protein of a first protein and a second protein adsorbed by a substance containing silicon oxide to come into contact with a solution comprising a divalent cation, is characterized in that the first protein is a protein that can be bound to the substance containing silicon oxide in a solution comprising 0.1 M sodium chloride.
