METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PROVIDING HOME CONTENTS

PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for providing home contents are provided to receive contents shared in a home network even though IP address and port information of a private network or a public network are not provided to several devices at home. CONSTITUTION: If a connection request to a contents management apparatus(200) is received through an external network, connection information to an external device is detected. The detected connection information is compared with previously registered connection information. The external device is authenticated through the comparison. Contents shared in a home network are provided according to a request of the external device.
