IMPLEMENTATION METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR A REGISTER FILE CONTAINING SYSTEM REGISTERS

PURPOSE: A method and a system for configuring a register file including a system register are provided to configure a general-purpose register file of an SRAM structure and a system register of a flip-flop structure in one register file, thereby improving convenience of programming. CONSTITUTION: Address converters(1,8) are composed for register file access of a microprocessor. The address converters convert address discontinuity of an internal register file(4) of an SRAM structure into a continuous address. The address converters for a write operation decide a write address and a write enable signal received from the microprocessor.
