PURPOSE: A light emitting display device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve yield by increasing an electrical contact area between an organic light emitting layer and a conductive metal electrode. CONSTITUTION: A first electrode(19) is formed on the light emitting area of a first substrate. An oxide thin film(20) is formed on the first electrode of the light emitting area to cover the foreign material on the first electrode. The thickness of the thin film is 1 to 200 angstrom. The oxide thin film is made of on of aluminum, aluminum alloy, copper, silver, titanium, and chrome. An organic light emitting layer(21) is formed on the oxide thin film. A second electrode(22) is formed on the first substrate including the organic light emitting layer.
