<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container for application capable of conveniently making the pressure in the container equal to the external pressure and preventing a larger amount of content from blowing out much more than an intended amount on a face to be applied. <P>SOLUTION: The container 1 for application includes the container 2, a communication cylinder 3 mounted on an opening part of the container 2 to make the inside communicate with the container, an application stopper 4 which is arranged under a condition that it is energized toward the outside of the container 2 along the axial O direction on the inside in the radial direction of the communication cylinder 3 and keeps the tip part 41 projected to the outside of the container 2 from the communication cylinder 3, and an overcap 5 freely attachably/detachably mounted on the opening part and covering the communication cylinder 3 and the tip part 41, and a seal face 44 which is brought into contact with the face to be sealed 34 formed in the communication cylinder 3 along the axial O direction from the inside of the container 2, is formed at a part where the application stopper 4 is positioned in the communication cylinder 3.
