<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for photographing fingerprint which accurately photographs shapes of fingerprints on a surface of a sample without including the reflection of a shape of a light source in a photographing device when the surface of the sample is highly reflective. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus for photographing fingerprint is equipped with the light source 10 for irradiating the surface of the sample 6 including the fingerprint 5 with light, a condenser lens 20 for condensing the light emitted from the light source 10, a half mirror 30 which reflects a part of the condensed light and emits the reflected light to the surface of the sample 6, and a camera 40 for photographing the fingerprint 5 on the surface of the sample 6 beyond the half mirror 30. When a focal length of the condenser lens 20 is defined by f, an optical path length between the light source 10 and the condenser lens 20 defined by x, and an optical path length from the condenser lens 20 to the surface of the sample 6 defined by y, positions of the light source 10, the condenser lens 20, and the surface of the sample 6 are set in a manner to establish inequalities of (1/f)<(1/x)+(1/y) and x>f if the surface of the sample 6 has a high reflectivity, and the light source 10 is placed to be close to the side of the condenser lens 20 so that the light source 10 may not form an image on the surface of the sample 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
