POWER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power distribution system which improves the efficiency of using power by preventing power conversion from DC power to AC power as much as possible when a DC power generation facility is equipped.

SOLUTION: An AC power supply path La to which an AC apparatus driven on AC power is connected and a DC power supply path Ld to which a DC apparatus driven on DC power is connected are provided. Power is supplied to the AC power supply path La from a commercial power supply AC, and power is supplied to the DC power supply path Ld from a DC power generation facility such as a solar cell power generator SB or a fuel cell FB. An inverter device INV for converting the DC power generated by the DC power generation facility into DC power is connected to the AC power supply path La via an AC switch SWa. An AC-DC converter RCT for converting the AC power from the commercial power supply AC into DC power is connected to the DC power supply path Ld. Only when a switching condition is met, the inverter device INV and the AC-DC converter RCT operate to execute power conversion.
