<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developer supply device which applies charge to one-component developer and supplies the developer to which the charge is applied to a developer carrier in a low-stress state to the developer, a developer supply method, a developing device including the developer supply device and the image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The developer supply device 30 provided in the developing device 10 supplies toner T that is the one-component developer to a developing roller 22 for developing a latent image on a photoreceptor 21, and includes an air flow discharging member 24 arranged below the developing roller 22 and discharging air flow upward from an air flow dispersion member 23 constituted so that the charge can pass through, a charge discharging member 25 arranged below the air flow dispersion member 23, and an agitator 28 transporting the toner T in a hopper 14 to space between the developing roller 22 and the air flow dispersion member 23, wherein a potential difference is provided in terms of a negative polarity so that potential may be higher in the charge discharging member 25 than in the developing roller 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
