<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hard coat film which has good adhesion of a hard coat layer, is excellent in abrasion resistance and hardness, exhibits high antifouling property and retains the antifouling property. <P>SOLUTION: The hard coat film 1 has a hard coat layer 14 on one side of a triacetylcellulose film 12, wherein the hard coat layer 14 is located at an outermost surface. The hard coat film 1 has a primer layer 13 between the triacetylcellulose film 12 and the hard coat layer 14. The hard coat layer 14 surface has a pencil hardness of ≥3H, a contact angle of water of ≥90° and a contact angle of hexadecane of ≥45°.
