<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a thickness direction oriented phase difference film, using a shrinkable film having specified shrinkage characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: This manufacturing method for the phase difference film has manufacturing processes of: (A) bonding the shrinkable film on one face or both faces of a stretched long olefin resin film; (B) heating and shrinking the laminated film; and (C) separating the shrinkable film from the laminated film, to obtain the phase difference film, and satisfies an expression (1): 0.1≤L×T×(W<SB>0</SB>-W<SB>1</SB>)/W<SB>0</SB>×100 ≤3 (1) in the process of (B), where W<SB>0</SB>(m) represents an initial original film width of the laminated film, W<SB>1</SB>(m) represents the laminated film width of the laminated film after the shrinkage process of the laminated film, L (m) represents a working distance of the shrinkage process, and T (min) represents a working time of the shrinkage process. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
