<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily open a target page by jumping from a spread page to another page in an image display method for displaying a spread image. <P>SOLUTION: A spread page P is displayed by shifting a page behind a currently displayed page at an end 59 and a ground 60 side. When the posting of the spread image P is carried out by an input device 7, a page including the position is extracted. When the posting of the end 59 or the ground 60 is carried out, the hidden page is extracted. When a plurality of pages are extracted, a page which is the closest to the spread page is decided as a designated page, and a spread preview image 66 including the page is displayed.
