<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment which can shut down its operation in a normal manner. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic equipment operates on a commercial power supply or a secondary battery power supply; and when the output voltage of the commercial power supply is abnormal, it switches its power supply source from the commercial power supply to the secondary battery power supply. The electronic equipment includes at least one function processing section which can be shut down at a predetermined voltage and a control section for controlling the function processing section; a battery monitoring section which is provided in the secondary battery power supply to detect the output voltage of the secondary battery power supply; and a determination section which determines whether the function processing section is to be shut down, based on the output voltage of the secondary battery power supply detected by the battery monitoring section. When it is found by the determination section that the output voltage of the secondary battery power supply is a predetermined value or smaller, the control section shuts down the function processing section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
