PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary tool for a forklift removably attached to a fork to hold an upper part of a box. SOLUTION: The auxiliary tool 1 for the forklift attached to the fork 11 of the forklift includes a fork insertion opening 2a through which the fork 11 is inserted and a hook 3 engageably and disengageably holding the upper part of the box, and lifts the box together with the fork while holding the upper part of the box.
