<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly replace and mount a friction pad by allowing another side portion of a guide member to be pressed in the direction of adhering to a mounting member. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the disk brake, a portion positioned on the radially inner side of a disk out of a pad guide spring 17 is constituted of a guide plate part 17D formed by bending a lower end side of a flat plate part 17A in a crank shape, for example, and fitted inside a pad guide groove 3; an extended plate part 17E extended in the rotational direction of the disk from a distal end side of the guide plate part 17D; and a bent back plate part 17F formed by bending back a distal end side of the extended plate part 17E in a substantially V shape or a substantially dog leg shape. The bent back plate part 17F of the pad guide spring 17 is configured with a tip end side locked to a cutout 4C of a projected part 4 of a mounting member 1 in an elastically deformed state to sandwich the projected part 4 between itself and the extended plate part 17E.
