<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an injection valve improved in spraying homogeneity, and to provide a method for easily machining orifices deflected in multiple directions. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The machining method is provided for a nozzle having a valve seat for storing a valve element and a plurality of the orifices formed at the downstream side of the valve seat for injecting fuel. The method includes a step of pressing a plurality of flat face portions approximately perpendicular to axes of the orifices to a curved face portion of a blank having the protruded curved portion, a step of pressing blind holes one by one to the plurality of flat face portions, a step of pressing the orifices one by one to bottom portions of a plurality of blind holes, a step of cutting the valve seat or roughening it by discharge machining, and passing the plurality of orifices therethrough at the same time, a step of hardening the nozzle, a step of finishing the valve seat by cutting work, and a step of deburring opening ends of the plurality of orifices at the side of the valve seat.
