<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a superheated steam sterilizer capable of executing sterilization by using air containing superheated steam, mixing particles activated by discharge and jetting them. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Water atomized by the drive of an ultrasonic generation element 12 is superheated to about 200°C by a heater 14 for steam generation disposed in a superheated steam generation part A and turned to the superheated steam. The superheated steam passes near a discharge element 15. The discharge element 15 includes two electrodes connected to an AC voltage supplied from a high voltage power supply 16 and ceramic held between them, activates molecules in the superheated steam by the discharge by a high voltage and generates reactive particles.
