<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly prevent an improper actuation of a safety device when the safety device actuates predetermined times at the same location. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A PCS actuating unit 11 of a DSS_ECU 4 provided in a PCS system 2 determines a collision possibility with a detected obstacle based on obstacle information transmitted from a millimeter-wave sensor 5, and when it determines that there is the collision possibility, the PCS actuating unit 11 actuates a PCS to cause a brake ECU 6, a cenesthesia alarm device 7, an alarm display 8, and an alarm sound generating device 9 to perform a collision avoidance control. When there are predetermined times or more of actuations of the PCS at the same location, an actuation determination unit 12 of the DSS_ECU 4 determines whether the PCS is to be actuated by the PCS actuating unit 11 based on a driver's inhibiting operation. Therefore, in a case where the PCS is actuated the predetermined times at the same location, for example, when a structure around a road is improperly detected as an obstacle on the road, an improper actuation of the PCS system 2 can be properly prevented.
