This invention relates to a web-browsing system that enables a user to surf the web efficiently. The web-browsing system which can be installed in a client's terminal comprises: a web-browser (11); a function window controller (121) that contains a window manager (1211) consisting of a contents-information DB (1211c), a frame editor (1211d) and a menu controller (1211a); and a function window module (12) that has a web browser link unit (122). The contents-information DB (1211c) stores at least one kind of contents among text, image, video, or sound source and the contents information linked to the correspondent contents. The frame editor (1211d) controls a function window (b) coded in HTML to include a webpage window that is coded in HTML and outputs a webpage (WP) and to edit an existing window (a) through the web-browser (11). A function page (UP) that displays the contents information is outputted through the function window (b). In addition, the function window (b) is controlled by the frame editor (1211d) so that the function window (b) and the existing window (a) may be displayed in one output window (c) by being combined with each other. The menu controller (1211a) controls the link with the web-browser (11) to enable Internet communication based on the contents-information indicated in the function window (b). The web browser link unit (122) links the function window controller (121) to the web-browser (11) to enable the access to the Internet based on the contents information. |
