PURPOSE: A system and a method for processing an emergency call are provided to block an emergency telephone call request of an abnormal mobile terminal, thereby preventing waste of a system resource. CONSTITUTION: An emergency call control server(140) checks whether an ID of a mobile terminal corresponds to an abnormal ID. The server informs the checking result to an exchange(130). If the ID of the mobile terminal corresponds to the abnormal ID, the exchange releases call connection of the mobile terminal.
