PURPOSE: A UWB(Ultra-Wideband) microstrip patch antenna is provided to increase a gain and a bandwidth by forming a radiator with a Y shape. CONSTITUTION: A UWB microstrip patch antenna includes a dielectric substrate, a radiator(110), a feeder(120), and a ground(130). The dielectric substrate has a preset dielectric constant. The radiator with a Y shape is formed on one side of the dielectric substrate. The feeder is a coaxial feeder line or partial ground plate. The ground is formed on the other side. At least one L-slot(141,142) is inserted into the radiator for limiting a WLAN(Wireless Local Area Network) frequency band.
