<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular knee airbag device reducing the load on knees when a knee airbag is inflated and expanded when the knees of an occupant are brought close to an airbag door. <P>SOLUTION: An upper tether 100 and a lower tether 102 are arranged in a knee airbag 86 above and below an inflator 70. A first opening part 104 and a second opening part 106 for distributing gas in the vertical direction are alternately formed in the upper tether 100 and the lower tether 102. The second opening part 106 is a circular hole having the diameter smaller than that of the first opening part 104.
