PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor, image processing method, computer program and information recording medium, for reducing costs required for decoding processing and re-encoding processing when editing a decoded image or the like of code data generated by encoding image data for each of rectangles formed by dividing image data.

SOLUTION: The image processor includes: an encoding means for encoding a processed image obtained by performing image processing on a first decoded image obtained by decoding one of rectangular code data items that image code data have; a deciding means for deciding whether or not a reference pixel, which is referenced when the rectangular image data adjacent to the first decoded image are encoded, in pixels that the first decoded image has is processed in image processing; and a decoding means for decoding the rectangular code data of a rectangle referring to the first decoded image to acquire a second decoded image in the case that it is decided that the reference pixel is processed. In the case that it is decided that the reference pixel is processed, the encoding means further encodes the second decoded image by referring to a processed image.
