<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the increase in a data size by re-encoding. <P>SOLUTION: The image data processor includes: a recording condition generator for determining the recording mode of a compressed moving image stream according to program information corresponding to the compressed moving image stream; a re-encoding part for re-encoding the compressed moving image stream and determining a re-encoded stream; and a stream controller for outputting the compressed moving image stream to the re-encoding part when the recording mode is a re-encoding mode for re-encoding and recording the compressed moving image stream, and outputting the compressed moving image stream so as not to pass through the re-encoding part when the recording mode is a stream recording mode for recording the compressed moving image stream without re-encoding it. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
